Mobile Assisted Language Learning

Mobile Assisted Language Learning or MALL is a way of learning languages using mobile devices mainly cell phones or tablets. Through MALL, students and teachers are able to have access to numerous learning materials by downloading the apps. The advantage of MALL is that the user can use his/her mobile device to learn languages anywhere and whenever he or she wants. The learner may use his/her spare time to take advantage to learn any time, any place.

In my own experience as a language learner, I have used a number of mobile apps to study Portuguese, Italian, and French. I Think they are also powerful tools because they are entertaining, you don't need to have a schedule, and you don't need to be in a classroom to learn and practice the language you are studying.
